From hurghada, a 3 1/2 hour trip by bus or minivan will take you to Luxor. We will not attempt at explaining the history of all these sites, just pictures with a few comments.

Karnak temple

Luxor Temple

The entrance of the Luxor temple.

The Memnon Kollossi

The 2 Memnon Kollossi guarding a now non existant temple. Ruins of the temple have the only Sphinx with an crocodile head.

The Valley of the Kings

The entrance to King Tuthankhamon's tomb. The summit of the mountain served as a Pyramid for the Tombs of the Pharaos buried in the Valley.
